oh how i love you poki yaki this is my new favorite place my goodness so delicious and the girl serving me was so kind!

Delicious and very quality fish! The sauces here are really good too. Came here for the first time today and will def be coming back!

This spot is not fancy. In fact, it's starting to look a bit run down with the ceiling leaking and the bathroom being out of service for a long time now. (I think they just don't want people to use it lol) However, the food is legit. It's straight to the point poke. The crew that works here seem to be different each time I pop in but they all make a good bowl! They really pack it up!! I'm impressed. You really get your moneys worth here. Please tip the workers. Especially if you're happy with the service received.

Walked in about 45 min before closing time and there were 2 young ladies there. They were nice and hard at work as the couple before us ordered quite a few different bowls. Despite this and being close to closing time, they were very patient with us as it was our first time in and still accommodated some side items like gyoza and spam musubis. Half the chairs on one side were up but the other side of the room still had bench seating and tables available. The poke bowls themselves were good. No issues and plenty of mix in's and toppings. The sizes are based on the amount of protein scoops. The musubis were not the prettiest or the freshest but they were still on point. Gyoza from a bag but crispy to perfection. Deep fried of course. The bag of chips were a tad stale but it actually worked since I was scooping my poke up with the chips. All in all if you're super picky, this may not be the spot for you. However I enjoyed my meal and i will definitely be returning.

Nestled inside behind a Chase Bank on Beach and La Plalms is a small but decent poki place been coming here for quite some time. My wife and I decided to swing by a little after 12:30 pm on a Saturday. The place had a new layout but still the area. Their fish is fresh and doesn't have any fishy smell that's noticeable if the fish becomes old. Serving sizes are generous on all fish and mixings. The attendants where both courteous and listens to whatever you want added in short service was promptly done on all your orders.

I ordered this through doordash and it worth the price. I like how they don't cap u on the sides. The sauces are good. They follow the order that you want and give alot. Even for a regular bowl, it's alot of protein and sides. I like they have purple rice!!! it's not as starchy as much as the white rice. Def need to go in person.

Generous with the many toppings (up to ten) and sauces (up to six), but the total portion was modest, not huge. Tasted quite fresh. Good sauces.

Decent poke spot in the area; they have decent sauces and ingredients. Some of the fish have a fishy taste, but not horrible. Crab is a bit loaded with mayo but still good. Serving sizes are decent as well. I like that they have purple rice and a bunch of toppings and sauce options. I'll probably be back!

We decided to try Poki Yaki since it was a meatless Friday. The restaurant is located in the same plaza as Coffee Code and next door to Uncle Borneo. When we arrived, it was quite empty so it was a quick transaction. The staff was friendly but a bit flustered with the multiple take-out orders. As with all poké shops, it is freshly made to order. You first select a base - white or brown rice, spring mix, chips, or half and half. They offer 3 sizes - regular (3 scoops of protein), medium (4 scoops), and large (5 scoops). The protein options are salmon, tuna, spicy tuna, shrimp, scallops, octopus, and tofu. For sauces, they have several options from original ponzu, sesame oil, spicy mayo, creamy Hawaiian, and several others. There are no gluten-free options. All bowls include crab salad and seaweed salad plus unlimited toppings. I'm not sure if the avocado is extra. Our customized poké bowls: Small - half/half with white rice and spring mix. I opted for salmon and scallops tossed in the creamy Hawaiian and spicy mayo sauces. I topped off the bowl with cucumber, white onions, green onions, fried onions, furikake, and avocado. Large - white rice. The proteins - salmon, shrimp, and scallops in the original ponzu. Topped with green onions. Overall, the bowls were not bad. The fish was on the fresh side. The sauces were tasty. It was not as good as our favorite poké spot but it was a decent substitute.
